So, I was thinking of trying my hand at poetry or something. What do y’all think??

  1. I Think You’re A Very Talented Writer With The Heart Of A Poet…
…So Hopefully That Will Help You Transition In Writing Actual Poetry!
    It Never Worked For Me.
My Poetry Was Always Pure Pond-Scum.
    But You Shouldn’t Not Try.
    You Could Be Amazing.
    Or You Could Be Pond-Scum.
    Either Way…
    …At Least You’d KNOW 🙂

Roses are red violets are blue I say go ahead because it sounds like you!

    • Hahaha, thank you very much! That was a great poem, by the way! *lol* I know my blog is completely random and eccentric, and while movies will always be my favorite thing to talk about and write about, I thought I might be able to use it as an outlet, as well. Is that strange? HAHA!

i have honestly never understood “poetry” but I’m just not very smart. I appreciate a good limerick 🙂 hahaha you should do whatever makes you happy ~

  4. Definately, if you enjoy writing poetry that’s all that matters

You should definitely do it if it makes you happy! 🙂 I write poetry all the time and have been considering opening up a second blog for it and my short stories/novellas/etc myself.

I say go for it. My poetry was never good, but it does help with your other writing because it forces you to say so much in so few words. It’s also so deceptive – it appears easy but there is a lot of rules and mechanics behind well written poems…me I just go with the rhyming (there’s a word I never spell correctly LOL).

God hates a coward so go for it 🙂

There’s no reason not to. You’re a talented writer, so if you have a passion for it, it’s worth trying, right?
